It made for a much more relaxed, not to mention comfortable time! The atmosphere of the whole weekend seemed to be "laid back easy", and I think, had a lot to do with the unbelievable success of the reunion. The big thing for many was the symposium and the letting go of the old roles and attitudes many of us have carried since high school. I can guarantee you the 50th reunion will be the most fantastic on any record anywhere! … You all did an outstanding job on this reunion and all your hard work was very much appreciated by everyone. I hope you know how much we enjoyed the fruits of your labor. It will be difficult to wait for our 50th!” Linda Parslow Mastry “We just wanted to say "thank you" to all of you that made the 45th class reunion such a great success--it was so much fun!!! We thoroughly enjoyed going to SPHS for the tour, especially the "archives" room, sure brought back lots of memories. A big "thanks" to Jane Pruitt for being such a great "tour guide". Also, the afternoon get together with Pam and Russ had a warm and caring feeling. We enjoyed learning more about our fellow classmates and their lives. The casual theme was fun. I’m sure everyone who participated loved it as much as I did. The dinner Saturday night was the best we’ve ever had…..please do that again … The video Joanne & Pam put together was the crowning touch. Please thank them for all of us! I’ve enjoyed it over and over….. Thank you again – Lord willing, I’ll be there in ’14 for our big one. I was able to meet with a fellow grad that lives in St. Pete and was not able to attend. I naturally asked why and the first response was too formal and too expensive. ”Great!! Great!! Great!! Thank you all so much for making our 45th reunion so great. I can appreciate how challenging it is to coordinate the venues, the food, drinks, activities not to mention finding all the wayward classmates. You did a great job and I want to say thank you! Boy, downtown St. Petersburg is looking great and the weather was fantastic…not too hot and no rain…how good is that? I will be looking forward to the next reunion in five years. Carlyn and I really enjoyed ourselves and we loved seeing you all.
“Cindy and I had a great time at the Reunion and we thank you all for such a wonderful get together. I know you're all thinking about what could be done better but I thought for us, living so far away, it was perfect. It's especially nice to come to St. Pete ay the end of our long and wet winter to enjoy the warmth of a Florida spring. The Yacht club is so beautiful, the food was outstanding, and the music and dancing were great. All that said, the best is just seeing so many classmates at one time and learning how everyone has done in life and to see the SMILES after all the years. I hope we can see everyone there again at the big 50. If you build it we will come!. Everyone seemed to be much more comfortable and able to enjoy the event. I realize the Yacht Club might be cost prohibitive for some, but they sure do put out a great affair. The room and the buffet were excellent. … All in all, thanks for a great job -- will be looking forward to seeing the photos on web site.
